| only reason #2 might make sense..... When I had mine, before the Labree, I was impressed at the overall build quality. The flanges, for instance, are double the thickness of any other brand I've seen. The "aluminized steel" arguement is only slightly valid. The thickness of the piping is more than adequate to give many years of use. The fart cannons are stainless. The sound quality with stock cats and Megan downpipes was actually very good. Of course it's deadened by the cats and resonators in the H pipe. But it was nice, just a little more aggressive than stock. (on a TT that is) I agree it doesn't flow well with the cars design, but some people care more about the flow of exhaust fumes over the flow of an artistic eye. That being said I don't miss mine at all, I'm thrilled to death to have "aluminized steel" Labree now. I'm sorry I couldn't afford SS.....
